- SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS SIGNED VETERAN LINEBACKER ELVIS DUMERVIL
Recently one of the biggest players in the free agent market has made his decision.
The veteran rushed passer Elvis Dumervil will be signed with the San Francisco 49ers.
The 33-year-old Dumervil obtained 9 sack in the past two seasons. He will join the increasingly powerful 49ers shock combination. The opponent's attack team now has to consider dealing with Dumervil, include Solomon Thomas in the first round of the year, DeForest Buckner in 2016 and the first round show in 2015, Arik Armstead.
At least, 49ers are very clear about the ability of Dumervil. The team general manager John Lynch has been teammates with Dumervil for two seasons in Denver Broncos.
Standing by the veteran Linebacker Elvis Dumervil, 49ers defensive group has got a comprehensive upgrade in professional spirit in this year's offseason. Dumervil has been selected in the professional bowl for five times, the last time among them is the one after he made 17 sack in Baltimore Ravens three years ago. He missed half of the matches last season due to a long wounded foot injury.
