- NFL IN LONDON: SHOWERS TO DEPART BY COLTS VS. JAGUARS GAME ON SUNDAY
Thundery showers set to begin this weekend will depart prior to the season's initial National Football League game in London on Sunday.
The Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars are set to face off at Wembley Stadium on Sunday for the initial of 3 NFL games becoming played in London this season.
The game kicks off at two:30 p.m. BST (9:30 a.m. EDT) following various pre-game activities, such as Saturday's "NFL on Regent Street" festivities.
"Anyone outdoors on Saturday will choose to keep their brollies handy," AccuWeather Meteorologist Steve Travis stated. "An region of low stress will move across southern England, that will bring thundery showers all through the day."
When thunder is heard, seek proper shelter indoors.
In addition to a brolly, any one heading to Regent Street will want to put on a long-sleeved shirt or jacket. A high of 15 C (near 60 F) is expected, that is relatively typical for the very first day of October.
There will probably be a gentle to moderate breeze which will hold AccuWeather RealFeel® temperatures slightly below actual temperatures.
If you'll find any lingering showers in southeastern England, they need to happen east of London and depart inside the morning.
An even milder day will stick to on Monday.
The following NFL matchup in London is scheduled for 23 October at Twickenham Stadium between the New York Giants and Los Angeles Rams.
